Quinn Eggesiecker-Mack, LPC, LCPC, CST, NCC, MA

I am a Licensed Professional and National Certified Counselor ( MO and KS) and an American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) Certified Sex Therapist who believes in the importance of kindness, laughter and understanding in our lives and in treatment.  I know that change can be scary (and not to mention difficult!) and because of this I adhere to a teamwork approach- you are not in this alone! Working as a team allows us to create a safe and supportive treatment environment uniquely suited for you and your individual needs. I have specialized training in the fields of sex, couples and family therapy and I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are experiencing sexuality-related concerns as well as members of the trans and GNC community. I believe that diversity is beautiful and I am committed to ongoing efforts to make my practice, and the other spaces I occupy, a place where one’s intersecting identities are both respected and celebrated.

Education and Training

My educational background includes Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and English from the University of Mississippi, a Masters in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in couples and family therapy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a certificate in Sex Therapy and Sexuality Education from the University of Michigan. I find education to be a critical component of my work and because of this I invest in multiple training events throughout the year that allow me to continue to learn and grow as both a clinician and human.

Clinical Experience

While I worked with many different presenting concerns, my area of expertise (and the work I am most passionate about) focuses on helping people who are experiencing issues related to sexuality (orientation, identity, function, expression, etc…) and relationships (self and others). I sub-specialize in working with gender diverse teens and their loved ones. Most recently I began a group for gender diverse high school students and their support system which is geared at providing a supportive environment and the clinical expertise needed to assist them on their journey.

Other Professional Ventures

A big part of working in the field of sexuality is community education and advocacy. I enjoy presenting at local universities on the topics of sexuality and clinical practice as well as at area high schools on matters related to gender, orientation and sexual health. Most recently I created an inclusive and intersectional sex and pleasure positive curriculum for adolescents ages 8-18. I am in the process of turning this curriculum into an e-course so that it may be more widely accessible.
